Jökulsárlón

This glacial river lagoon is placed in the southern part of the Vatnajökull National Park. The toe of the glacier feeds a lagoon (the deepest in Iceland, 284 m deep), whose mouth ends in the Atlantic Ocean, forming a beach with hundreds of ice rocks on black sand (the Diamond Beach), a really picturesque landscape impossible to find in other places.

The laggon

It is a place plenty of colours: blue, white, brown, green... Almost impossible to be described.
